I have provided childcare on and off for approximately 30 years. I have worked in the ski industry for the last 15 years. I currently work to protect our water supply in our region. This winter I will be coaching kids skiing at Squaw for the Mighty Mights Program. I look forward to caring for your children while you enjoy your stay in Tahoe.

I grew up in Lafayette, CA. I moved to Truckee in 1999 where I met my husband, Grant. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, reading and skiing, but my favorite thing is our beautiful new daughter Lola, born December 2007.

ERIN MANNING
I am 23 years old and have lived in the Truckee/Lake Tahoe area for most of my life. I have been skiing since the age of four. I love the outdoors, golfing, swimming and skiing. I have my National EMT - Basic Registry Certificate. I love to do arts and crafts and spending time with children.

My name is Heidi Schleusner. I have provided child care since I was twelve years old for families in the local community, the church I attend, second home owners and visitors of the Tahoe Truckee region. I am the eldest of five children and the youngest was born 15 weeks pre-mature. As a result, I learned to deal with children with special medical and behavioral needs. I look forward to providing excellent care for your children.

My husband and I have lived in Truckee for 9 years. I am the mother of three grown children, the grandmother of two and the guardian to my 16 year old niece.

Cheryl
I was born and raised in Seattle. I enjoy being outdoors, taking photos, creating crafty projects, travelling, and learning new things. I am active and creative. I am also a ski coach with the Mighty Mights at Squaw Valley.

Work Experience

I have been a swim instructor for preschool-school-age children, overnight camp counselor, preschool day camp leader, preschool teacher, and nanny. I have worked as a program monitor with adolescents and a field instructor with adolescents in the wilderness. I have cared for children of all ages in various environments. There is something that fascinates me at each stage of development.

Tami Vogel

I am 35 years old. I enjoy spending time with my 2 horses and small dog. I have worked in the child care industry and as a security for a number of years. I also have an autistic nephew whom I have spent time taking care of and really enjoy his company.

I have taught numerous equine summer camps for kids and as such have been around children my whole life.

I moved here from eastern Canada two years ago. I love the mountains and hiking the trails with my dogs. I am the youngest of 8 children and come from a large Catholic family. Currently I have 13 nieces and nephews which I love spending time with.
